Cherries in our northern climate are almost always the sour type. or pie cherry. These are the ones that are used for baking pies and making preserves. We do offer one variety of sweet cherry just like the kind you put on your ice cream. In upcoming years we will offer a variety of bush cherries as well.
Zone 4 Kristin Cherry produces loads of large, dark burgundy fruit with flavorful, firm and juicy flesh. This variety requires a second sweet cherry for pollenation.
